Generally better than the green mana dorks as you can play this with black mana which is a much more common colour to be based in
I dont think that Im legally allowed to talk about Mithril Coat without comparing it to Darksteel Plate and wondering how many people cut that card when this one came out and never looked back

A lot of the three mana cards wish to support something already on the field, so you will have to learn to keep an opening hand that actually does a turn 2 body into turn 3 support card play or you may end up having no board presence for quite some time
Emissary Green seems overcosted at five mana for a 3/3 that must attack before you get any benefit, either Treasures or +1/+1 counters depending on how all the players vote (you should vote security yourself to boost Emissary Green large enough to survive combat)
