I think this is a decent card on rate and a good inclusion in some Red/X casual creature deck

Beacon of Immortality is a two card kill combo with it

It turns out that playing it in a format full of fetch lands makes it very easy to put counters on Wan Shi Tong and draw you extra cards in the process

Its nice when you get to cast [card]Divination[/card] and draw a couple cards, but its nicer still when [card]Rhystic Study[/card] sticks around and draws you ten

This is why it can be tricky trying to predict the values of cards before a set is out in the wild, as you never know which cards will get pulled into relevance
