Scavenging Ooze has to be one of my favorite Standard creatures of all time, and while I think it's a nice reprint it feels outclassed compared to Tranquil Frillback, which can also deal with Artifacts or Enchantments

That power comes across very nicely indeed in its transition to Magic: The Gathering

Some cards such as Cogsworth, Grandfather Clock can grant other characters the Resist keyword

So if you can threaten those creatures without spending cards (graveyard cards don't really count the same way), you are slowly gaining an advantage with each activation

That means you can be swinging in with commander damage and pinging down another opponent each turn a nice two-pronged attack

That's a backup win con for your combat damage or EOT descend trigger with your Commander
